Dear All:
My wife and I just went for Passport stamping this morning in Dallas (02/11/02). Here is the series of times.
Arrival and waiting in line – 6:25 am (they start working from 6:30am), about 150 people ahead of us.
Get into the door and get two numbers – 9:30 am (more than three hours wait outside in cold).
Numbers are served – 10:40 am.
The officer did not ask for anything else other than the notice (courtesy copy), passport and two photos , even the notice ask for more. She filed I-551 for us and took our fingerprint and signature.
Get passport stamped for both of us and out of the door by 10:50am.
For all of you still waiting. Good luck and your time will come.
