Sorry for posting late.
Got passport stamped for me and my wife on 9/27/02.
After a long wait, our number was called and handed over the following to the officer:
- the courtesy copy of Approval notice
- 2 ADIT style photographs with A# and name printed at back
- Passports with I-94
- EADs
We were asked to do FP again, which took 5 minutes and submitted that with the officer.
Waited for another 45 minutes and finally the officer stamped our passports which are valid for 1 year.
Also, received the original notices from my lawyer on 9/30/02.
Surprisingly, my approval notice has my RD as 9/21/01 instead of 8/01/01 (9/21/01 is my ND) whereas when I called IIO, I gave my RD as 8/01/01.
Anyways, waiting for the card now and I wish good luck to all who are waiting.
Will update rupnet when I get my card.

:)

Greaty-K,

My approval notice also had RD changed to 9/28 and not the original 8/9.
I guess on approval, INS goes purely by what date is entered into their system. RD might be in counting only till the file is in queue waiting for approval. Once that is done, the original RD is no more visible to them.

Just my .02.

1 more short wait and you are done with this GC process.

Wish you all the best

Congratulations Great K You have been an angel on this site and you deserve every success.
I am also from CT. RD August 23, ND Octb 16. Still waiting for approval. Can you post the address of the Hartford office you went for stamping. Hoping to be in that stage soon,
Thanks

Re: Great Dude ?s for U

Sure, we went on a friday when the timings are 8am - 12 noon.
Reached there 8.15 am and lined up for my turn.
Parked in a parking space with $7.00 flat rate for a day.
There were approx 15 people waiting in line before me.
Each person was being allotted a number and allowed inside.

Admittance into the waiting room stopped at 9 am.
I think that should hold true for other business days
as well.
I think the earlier you reach, the earlier you get free.
I was stuck in traffic because of an accident.

Once in the waiting room, kept waiting for 2 hours for our number to flash. You could see the Immigration officers on your side while waiting there.
I gave them the documents, did the FP just for the index finger again. No questions were asked.
After that it did not take very long.
It was about 11.50 am when I got free.
cellphones are allowed inside but no food/drinks etc.
I took the ADIT photos with me and you dont have to have them clicked from there.

let me know if u need any more info.
Good Luck, buddy.
