After third visit to the local INS office at San Antonio, our passports were finally stamped.

As some of you may recall, our I-485 was approved on July 25th by NSC. We visited local INS twice earlier and found that our records were not updated in their computer. Today, September 19th, when we went to San Antonio INS, everything was fine. We went at 1 pm, waited for 1 hour and spent 5 minutes with the officer and got our passports stamped. The officer said this time that it would take 8 to 10 months to get the actual card.
