Passport stamped 11/27

HI,

Our passport stamped on November 27, 2002 at Newark, NJ. It was an easy procedure.

First, the person took our finger prints and gave us a form. Then another person called our number and collected our photos, I-94, the form which has our finger print etc. She told us that our names will be called.

After 15 minutes she called our name, took our passport and stamped on it. She told us that it will take 6 to 12 months to get the cards in mail.

So thats it !!!!!

There is talk about temporary and permanent GC stamps. Can you let us know what the stamp on your passport says?

I don't know about temp stamp. It says this is valid until 11/26/03 (1 year) and they wrote my A# also in the passport. I asked the lady is there anything else I need to do and she replied that I am done and my cards will be coming within 6 to 12 months.

Could anyone tell me what the stamp in your passport says...?
