Last week I posted a thread for suggestion regarding passport stamp in case of emergency.
I went to INS last Friday at 8 AM(infopass appointment was tuesday 12/22). Officer told me that since I don't have appointment today, stamping can't be done. I told him that it is clearly written in uscis web site that in case of emergency, passport should be stamped w/o infopass appoinment. This changed his mind, and he gave me confirmed infopass appointment on same day and my passpost got stamped.
