Did you applied for passport regular or expedited? Does it make a difference to apply for passport at Oath ceremony or from post office, which one is faster.

In case nva2009 doesn't come back to reply let me point out that the signature says that it was regular (routine) processing.

I have to say that as San Jose doesn't have oath ceremony passports I haven't thought about the possibility that one is faster than another. It all depends about when they mail the application. I would think that they should be about the same.

I applied regular processing, through post office. I did it after the oath. I think i'm lucky to get it fast. But I also saw in the passport thread, another person got it in a little over a week over regular processing

Hi nva...congrats a lot!!!

I applied on 4/4 and they haven't even cashed my check. I called and they said its processing.

Did they cash your check and in how much time? Is it normal if they haven't cashed my check?

Thanks for reply.

Sorry, i didn't check when they cashed check. It was a total surprise. Because my information was not even in the NPIC database.
