Passport has to be valid for 6 month to get PP stamp??

My passport has only 5 months and 20 days valid, and I want to go for PP stamp, is there any body got reject to stamp because the passport is going to expire?

better to have valid passport

i would think it is better to get your new passport before getting the stamp. there might be a problem. what if u loose ur passport after stamping while being sent to the consulate. there is very little chance that u will get ur card in less than 6 months.

If SJ INS let me stamp the green card, I guess I can stamp first and then go to SF to extend my passport for another 5 years. I will let you know if INS let give me stamp.

They will stamp your passport, but it is only valid until the day your passport

expires. you need extend your passport and go stamp again.
