Yesterday we got our passport stamped.
1. We started at 6:22 AM from Ashburn VA
2. Reached the INS office at 6:55 AM
3. There were 90 people ahead of us.
4. It was windy, very cold and regretted that we did not
anything to cover the ears
5. Parked the car on the street which allows only half an hour parking.
6. Gates opened at 7:30 AM
7. Went on the second floor through security check
8. There is one more line where they check photos, notice and give you token number.
9. The token says approximate time when your number will be called. We had 2.5 hours to go.
10. On the first floor they have nice dely for breakfast. went there and had some breakfast.
11. At around 11, our number was called. the lady was nice. She took finger prints and signatures and stamped the passports.
12. Came back to the car to find that we have ticket of 25$ but hey who cares - we have a green card in hand !
