Passport expires before U.S. Visa

Hello,

My passport was due to expire in the next few months and hence I applied for renewal. I have now received a new passport booklet alongwith the original one (which has now been cancelled).

Do I need to apply for visa revalidation and get it stamped in the new booklet or can I travel in and out of U.S. with both the booklets?

The visa stamp in your old passport should still be valid. Just carry both passports with you when you travel. I used to do that when I was on a H-1B visa and never had any problems going through immigration.

Recent problems in travel?

Has anyone heard of travel problems in this case post 9/11 ? Any airline restrictions ?
