Part Time H1B visa

Can some one work in US ONLY on a part time h1B visa? Is there any minimum number of hours one needs to work to be on an H1B visa???

Is part time H1B Different than a normal H1B? Can someone work for part time and then go full time if he finds more hours of work??

Part time is possible on an H-1 as long as that is how the I-129 was submitted

As long as you work and are paid in accordnace with what wars approved by INS you\'re ok as far as the H-1 is concerned.

Can H1b holder run an internet based business ??

Jim, Since you\'re an attorney, do you know if it is possible for an H1b holder to form a company or perhaps run an internet business. I am interested in selling some stuff over the net. Do I have to incorporate myself, if so can I ?

You cannot start your own business.

All of your income (except passive ones like interest from bank, stocks, rent) have to come from your I129 employer(s). For example you can sell your own house and buy another or make a profit. But you cannot be engages in a real estate business without a valid H1 authorized to do that.

You need an H-1 to work fro anyone, even your own business.
