part-time H1B visa vs AC-21

Hi,
I am planning to join an employer on part time basis. I will still work full time with my sponsor employeer.
I can use my EAD but don't want to.
That employer has agreed to do part-time H1B for me.
Will applying for part-time H1B visa affect my existing I-485 process.
My I-140 is already approved and I-485 has been filed since 15 months.
