Part time H1

Part time H1 & Full time H1

hi gurus,

I have a full time H1B from Company A. Company B is ready to sponsor a part time H1B. Several questions

1. Can i hold both a full time and a part time H1 at the same time?
2. What salary can i get paid? Is it the half of the prevailing wage?
3. Will my Green Card be affected in any way?
4. Do quota issues affect the part time H1 in my case?

Has anyone done this before? Any issues that has to be considered?

From what I found regarding this...

I don't think you can work for more than one employer at anytime, eventhough you may hold more than 1 H1s.

As long as the number of hours from both the H1's is not greater then 40 you should be fine. The problem is the second H1 is also given with intent of a full time job it cannot be used for part time basis.

Well the link in my previous post says that I can hold a full time H1 from A and a part time H1 from B. Does'nt this mean that the number of hours per week can exceed 40? Am i wrong?
