Folks, i assume the answer to this is straight fwd, but wanted to check with the forum.

We list professional memberships such as

Institution of Electrical Engineers (IEE)
Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE)
American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE)


under Part 10. Affiliations.

The Document checklist for N-400 on the USCIS says:

If you answer "Yes" to any of Questions 1 through 14 of Part 10 of form N-400, send:

A written explanation on a separate sheet of paper.

So Do you have to write why you are a member of IEEE?
