Parole Issue

Hello:

My wife has Valid Parole Document which Expires on March 15th, 2005 . She plans to travel India from Jan 30th to May 15th. When she is In India, her current Parole Document will expire. To cover that I applied for renewal of Parole Document on january 1st which is supposed to come in 3 months. As per my Lawer, My wife can't leave country when her parole document is in process. But My question is why when she has her current parole document valid up to March 2005? Can anybody suggest?

--- lawyer is correct becase if she wants to use new AP for reentry to US then she should depart US with new approved AP in hand
But My question is why when she has her current parole document valid up to March 2005?
------- your wife has AP valid till March15 and with that AP she can enter US before March15, as she wants to enter after that AP expires then she needs approved AP in hand. regarding to your "WHY" that is what USCIS says and only USCIS can let you know
Can anybody suggest?
--she should leave US AFTER her new AP gets approved OR if you are on H1 status then she should get H4 visa stamped and enter on H4 status
