Parents Sponsorship while in US

Are sponsoring conditions met once you are PR and have paid one year in taxes on US Income?? Anyone who knows about the process, please post your opinions/experiences/views and ideas.

For sponsoring parents, I think the time frame now is about 18 months.

18 months isn't too bad, considering that immigration for skilled workers is taking more time than that.

Can you also answer this : would you give your own address as the contact address or your parent's address in India ? The former would be a problem if parents are frequent visitors to US..
 
their indian address. but, you can always give a separate mailing address and that can be anywhere. i gave my brother's dorm. address as his contact info but the mailing address was my attorney's in ottawa.
