Parents marriage license is not signed!!

Hi All,

I wonder if anyone has been in this situation.

I had to get a duplicate marriage certificate for my parents {to apply for my father's green card} from the authorities because they had misplaced the original. After a whole six months of waiting, I got the license in the mail and the dumb officer that issued it forgot to have them sign it. I have half a mind to submit the application without the signatures. But am afraid that the BCIS may have issues with it. Also, the certificate is in the original language and is accompanied by a certified/notarized english translation, neither of which are signed by the bride and groom!!

I have a couple of questions:

Should i submit the papers with the certificate as is?
Should I send it back and have them sign it {that should take atleast 2 months.. grrrr!!}

Any advice would be helpful.

Regards.

Why would it take 2 months? It already has the signature of the officials, right? It would only take a few days each way to send it to your parents and have them send it back.
