Parents got the Immigration visa.....Port of Entry question

My parents got their immigration visa recently and they are making travel plans to come to the US soon. The concern they have is that the visa cover letter that accompanies with the sealed docs states that their final destination is my uncle's address in Atlanta(who sponsored their visa).

Question: Is it ok for them to come through the Los Angeles Port of Entry or they are required to use ATL Port of Entry. They want to visit me first in LA before going to atlanta.
 
That is what I told my parents as well but they are always by the book. Can you advice me where to get some official information on this issue. I called up NVC and they directed me to the US embassy where they got the visa. The embassy over was not helpful in answering anything.
 
There is nothing in the book that limits port of entry for immigrants. They are free to enter through any port.
