Parents GC - interview questions

Hi

My parents have received the notice for interview in SFO for the first week of November. Need you help/guidance in the following -

1) They have separate interview timings (30 minutes apart ) on the same date - Inspite of this, are parents typically interviewed together or separately ? The reason I ask is that my father is fluent in English conversation but my mother will need some help. I plan to accompany them for the interview

2) What the typical questions asked ? From all the reading I understand that is based on the data entered on the various forms submitted for the process

3) We plan to carry all the originals (+ 1 photo copy) of all the documents submitted (birth affidavits etc) as well as documents mentioned on the interview notice date - Any other document needed ?

4) Do I need my sibling's original birth certificate or would a copy be enough ? The sibling is mentioned on the forms but is not part of any I864 document/address etc ?

5) Assuming all goes well, USCIS will take their I94s and they will receive the card in 2 weeks or so - Is that a fair assumption

6) Any other pointers ?

Thanks

parents are usually easy cases

Usually, parents' cases are easy. They are usually given to the same officer. Most will take them together unless there is some embarrassing information that MUST be discussed. The Officers would likely separate them if they had to ask person about an old prostitution arrest (him or her) as an example.

Take all the originals with you. And regarding the time limit, there is no specified time for getting the green card after the interview. It may vary due to many reasons.
