Dear Experts,

Are parents of an L1 visa holder eligible for a dependant visa? Is it called an L2 visa?

What is the paperwork necessary for getting their visa processed?

Any specifics dos and/or don'ts while filing for the visa.

Will appreciate your inputs.

Best Regards.

Parents are not eligibe for any dependents visa unless the sponsor is a US citizen. So forget about it.
They can however get a visitor visa for temporary visits to US.

Thanks for your reply. And what would be the paperwork required for them to file the visitor visa in such a case. Any dos and don'ts associated with this?

Thanks much in advance.

Visitors to US are required to prove that they do not intend to become immigrants. Therefore documents showing strong ties to their home country like a job, significant assets, family ties etc. are required. Also required is the source of funding for their trip.
If they have a sponsor in US then sponsor's immigration status, income, and other financial assets are helpful.
