Parents & brothers' B2 Visa got rejected...HELP!!!

Hi,

My parents' and 2 brothers' B2 visas got rejected yesterday. The VO didn't state the refusal reason. He didn't stamp anything on their passports. I got my GC through asylum, and will get married in Nov. 2009. I supplied a formal letter from my pastor about the wedding that it's real. And my parents stated that they are not bringing my youngest brother to the US because he has school. During the interview, the VO asked them about me. He knew that I got my GC through asylum. He asked if I work or go to school. My parents answered honestly that I'm currently working to support myself.

My parents didn't show their bank account, certificate of properties and business because the VO didn't ask for it. Should they show them to VO eventhough he didn't ask to see it?

Now, we're preparing to apply B2 visa for a second time. Here are my questions:
1. When do you think they should apply for the visas again?
2. What can I do to support the fact that they will definitely go back to their country? Should I write a letter stating the fact that they have business, properties and a son still in high school that they won't bring with them to US? What kind of documents I need to supply?

Help...help....please...I really want them to attend my wedding.

Thanks a bunch for all of your advise!

Your parents fell victim to 214(b). This may sound harsh but it was most probably because of you. Since you came to the US and applied for asylum, the consul probably thought the rest of your family will follow suit.

B2 Visa rejected

Helo,

My mother applied for B2 visa and her applcation was refused by the visa officer at Islamabad Embassy. According to my mother's word, officer was very convinced and looks like she has no problem approving her application untill she ask my mother, where you gona live for your stay in USA. I actualy send my mother all my tax returns and a plain letter stating that I can afford expenses and accomodation for her three months stay in USA (in case she need to convince officer). When officer ask her this question, my mom says my son is in USA and she hand over all my documents to the officer. Visa officer didn't ask any other question after this and hand over back all the documents along with a letter stating you are not qualified for B2 visa u/s 214b.

I am GC holder and came to USA on DV-1 bases 4 years ago and have my own home here in USA. What should we do, I need her over here to see her new grand son.

Can any one help? Thanks

Unfortunately you cannot do much, if anything. From the State Department's point of view, nothing is stopping you from taking your son to Pakistan to see his grand mother. I know this sounds harsh but that is how they will defend their decision, though they really have no requirement to defend it.
