Parents AOS Interview cancellation letter

Hello
Just recieved a cancellation letter from local immigration office saying my mother's AOS interview scheduled next week has been cancelled
for unforeseen reason.

Any body has any such experience ?
google Web search showed me that some people
got such notice but people are advising to show up for scheduled
interview any way. Any comments or experience or feedback ?

We had a similar experience

We got the interview letters in November 2008 for interview in December 2008 and then within the same week we got cancellation letters for parents I-485 case.

A week later we got the letters for interview in Jan 2009.

When we asked during interview on whay this happened; officer said that they schedule the interview but do not transfer the file to local office. Local office then cancels and requests to re-schedule the interview.

No need to panic!
