Parent out of status-Can I apply for EAD?

Hi,
I am a US citizen and have filed for I-130 and I-485 for my Mom in Sept. 2009. My Mom is out of status. Can I apply for my Mom's EAD after her I-130 is approved? I have already paid the $1100 fee when I submitted the I-485 application. Do I need to pay additional fees when I file for her EAD (I-765)?

Assuming you are doing AOS you could have applied for when you filed the I-765 application along with 130/485. You dont have to wait for I-130 to be approved for filing the EAD application.
$1100? the application fee for I-485 was $1010. You can just file for her EAD with the copy of her receipt notices asap (and NO fees).
