Parent I485 Pending at CSC

Hi, I wonder if anyone who has similar case timeline has I485 approved already at CSC? I started to worry as I heard most of the parent cases, once get transferred to CSC, get approved very quickly.

Here is my dad's case timeline:
Reciept date: 7/17/2006
FP date: 08/05/2006
Transfer to CSC (from MSC): 9/27/2006 (both I130 and I 485)

Have not heard anything since the transfer. Cast status online show "pending at the office it is transferred to". It has been almost 4 months since the transfer and no decision made yet. Does this imply that the case may get stuck in name check now? I heard some people (specially parents) get approved within 3 weeks once got transferred to CSC.

Yes, in general, cases transferred to CSC are approved quickly and without an interview. Please check the first page of parents sticky thread and see the experiences of members with transfer to CSC.

It may be name check or it may just be slow processing in recent months. You should schedule an INFOPASS and try to find out. Good luck!
 
Thanks for the replay. The telephone inquiry indicates that I can only follow up the status after 180 days since the case was transferred. Does that mean I can only do Infopass after the same period of time?
