Parallel Processing of I-485

I am waiting for my I -485 approval. Details are EB2, RD 7/99, ND 8/99, FP 6/00. In my I-485 I am primary and spouse is secondary applicant. My spouse also started GC processing and just got I-140 cleared. My spouse is eligible to apply for I-485 since PD is current. As a back up option if my spouse files a parallel I-485 keeping me as secondary applicant what impact does it have on my I-485 ? How the spouse\'s I -485 is treated ?

At present both of us have EAD\'s but not used. How does this effect our new EAD\'s. Any value added suggestions are appreciated.

INS doesn\'t like issuing 2 Visa No. for same person. If they come to know then there may serious problem.
So be carefull. You should withdraw one of them.

It seems to me that you are wasting your money and slowing down I485 process in VSC except you expect that you are going to lose your job or anything else that will threat your 485 approval.

 I think there should be no problem. There is a discussion going on tha same topic in Counselor processing Board. It seems wife and husband are processing Cp and AOS thru their company and they have consult with the lawyer as well and they have approved that. So please check CP discussion board and consult with them. In my opinion if you get GC either thru your or wife\'s company other application will automatically get cancel. Please do resrach on your own.
