Sorry for this and I did search but however hard you look you can never quite find your situation.
Went through the GC process in 2004 moved to the US straight away, coming up on time to apply for citizenship and have a question on my previous record of really I am in no way proud or excuse.
I have a minor Juvenile record from when I was 15 (28 years ago stupid kid stuff) and then one conviction for Public order (Basically breech of the peace from an argument no violence involved just a small fine and even for the worst case scenario on this law you could not get sentenced to more than a year) from maybe 22 years ago all back in the UK and all declared during the GC process none of this was a bar or even a awkward question at the GC interview.
So basically having grown out of my youthful stupidity for the past 22 years including my 5 years in the US I have tried to do the right thing and I have no further record other than traffic tickets (x2 speeding)
So my questions are
1. Obviously I declare everything once again fairly happy the juvenile stuff is not counted but do I need to be concerned about refusal/delays on the adult thing
2. And I have all the original Police/Court documents from my GC interview will these be sufficient for the citizenship interview as we don't have certified copies as such in the UK they just send you what they have and as they were acceptable by the IO in London should they be OK here
3. Is there a way to get a husband and wife application moving together there does not seem to be the same tie up as with the GC
Thanks
Pete
