Packet 3 Review

Folks,

I sent my Packet-3 to NVC almost a month ago and I still keep hearing the same message that my documents were received on 18th Aug and we should allow 6-8 weeks for review and NVC will notify the outcome of the review.
What I have noted based on the info available on cptracker.com is that the review typically takes about 2 weeks plus/minus a few days.
Anybody in a similar situation like mine ?? My US consulate for CP is Singapore and I am not sure if that could contribute to this delay.

Normally MINIMUM time to review a case is 2 weeks. It has been AVERAGING about 3 weeks for most of the folks! Although off late the average is tending to be more towards 4 weeks than 3 weeks.

In very few instances, it has taken upto 8 weeks. I know of one specific case (not listed on cptracker.com/ immigration forum) where it took 6.5 weeks. No explanations were given by NVC why it took so long! Singapore being a consulate has nothing to do with the delay in completing the review.
