Packet 3 Case Number ?

Hi All,

Today I have received form DS-230 Part 1 from my lawyer. I don\'t know this packet 3 is sent by NVC or not. This form is having case number starting with BMB+(10digit). Is this mean that NVC has my case and NVC sent this DS-230 form?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How can I check this case# with NVC? What message should i expect from NVC automated system? Please let me know

Most likely, you shall get a message to the effect that a Packet 3 (aka "Instructions for Immigrant Visa Applicants") including case specific instructions has been sent to your attorney on file.

Your lawyer should advise you re: what documents are needed at this stage.
