PACE S2198 - Status

I am curious if Master of Management Information System (MIS) is considered as Science or Management degree ??
 
If they play their politics right, they should introduce the PACE Act after Comprehensive Immigration Reform. Just in case the latter is killed in the House or Conference, they could try to sneak the immigration related proposals along with the other recommendations in the House. Of course, this is assuming that PACE will not have much resistance in the House.

A companion piece of legistlation to S.2198 will be introduced in the House in a few weeks and hopefully similar provisions will exist in the House version too. It will be interesting to watch which provisions are immigration-related.

Politics is fascinating. Who could have thought of introducing Sen. Hagel's proposals in an "Energy" bill.

Disheartening.

Really. I have been working and paying taxes being on H-1B siince last 8 years. I only have a bachelor's degree and therefore applied in EB3. Had USCIS told me that I will need an "advanced" degree to get GC, I would have done that - infact would have completed what I have started. Realized that an Masters in IT/CSc is not going to add any value to my salary and dropped it. I know there are thousands of people like me. There is separate category for the GEEKS to file GC under the EB Category. Puzzling. :confused:
 
I find it fascinating anyway. These politicians have the power to make or break the lives of so many. To cause suffering or remove it. Unfortunately, most of the elected representatives in EVERY country on the planet are leeches.
 
I am also curious about that. Is MS in Information Management a science degree ? Well, if has the M.S. designation, that indicates to me that it is the case. Please clarify in case I am missing something.
