Folks, if CIR passes as is, how is your EB3 India visa numbers allocated ? Did you manage to increase the country quota to India ?

Good question. Looks like increasing the quota for eb3 India is not in hands of Indian immigrants :)

CIR as passed by Senate - S.2611.ES - increases the soft country quota to 10% and maintains the soft country cap. The increase from 7% to 10% had nothing to do with any lobbying or advocacy efforts that I am aware of. I believe it was there all along in the original McCain-Kennedy bill.
