Overstayed passport.

Hi there.

I could really use some help. I was in the USA for about 90 days visiting my boyfriend, we realized that I'd overstayed and I came back to Canada voluntarily. What I need to know is if I can cross the Canada/US border without issue, or if there would be an issue, how do I fix it?

Are you a Canadian Citizen?
If so, you are allowed 6 months (180 days) in the US, not 90 days and so did not overstay........unless of course you were specifically given less that 180 days at POE, or you entered on VWP.

I completely did the math wrong here... I was in the States for 280 days. I guess that changes things a bit?

I am Canadian. No, I wasn't given an I-94 card... I don't even know what that is.

Mostly because I'm a twit and made the original post when I was overtired. What I had been trying to say was that I overstayed by 90 days.

Just keep it to yourself and don't mention it at the border unless you are asked. You are Canadian, they worry less about Canadians. You should be fine.
