What are your thoughts about travelling overseas after the interview? Since the interviewing officer little bit rude with me and gave the "decision can't be made" letter that time. My lawyer wants me to wait until the Oath letter but I really have to travel, please let me know your experience/thoughts

I don't think there are any travel restrictions after interview.
In fact you can travel abraod anytime after filing N400 and before the oath
as long as they are short trips (without breaching 5-year residenc
and continuous residence.

Gurus, correct me if I am wrong.

What are your plans if you get a oath letter while you are out of the country? Normally, they do not give more than a 1 - 2 weeks notice for the oath. Personally I would recommend you wait until the oath is complete and travel with a US Passport. Good luck.

depending on how long your traveling to oversea would be. if it is only 1-2 weeks trip, i believe it is ok. you might want to have someone watches out mail for you in case you receive the oath letter while you are gone to trip thou.

i am pretty sure if you only travel for 1 week trip, it sure has no problems, especially the oath letter usually schedules for next 2 weeks appointment (rather than only 1 week notice).
