HI Guys , this is my first post here..hoping someone can help me out, i read thru all the FAQ
I have an inquiry about getting an immigrant visa ..My father got and immigration visa in 1991 in Cairo,Egypt, as beneficiary of a visa petition filed by his US citizen brother .In the visa interview appointment letter sent to him in SEP 91, it was mentioned that the office is "ready to begin final processing of the immigrant visa applicant(s) named below.........." and in it I was mentioned as one of the "Travelling applicants"..as a child.
However up till now I never claimed this visa..Giving that I`m now 26 years old and unmarried, I was wondering what are the next steps I have to take to obtain this immigrant visa?..or is this window closed and my dad, who is a LPL, has to file a petition for me all over again. IN which case i`ll have to wait 6-7 years for my priority date to arrive
