Out of US for more than 6 month with effective AP

Hi Guys,

My wife's AP is effective until May 2005. She has to go back to her home country to take care something. She will probibally be out of US for more than 6 month. As long as she come back before May 2005, is there going to be any problem for her to come back? I am on H-1B and she is on H-4.

Any info is helpful...

No, so long as she returns before the AP or the H-4 expire, whichever occurs later.

even if H4 expires and if AP is valid then she can come back.

apply for AP extension before she leaves just in case.....
