Out of status

Hi,

I was on F-1 visa and on 02/07 I was granted ASYLUM, but right now as I stopped going to school so I think I am not on F-1 visa any more so does it affect my ASYLUM status even though it has been granted? and another question which I have is that after granting an ASYLUM is there chances that it can be taken back or NO?

Anyone who has information regarding this please let me know because it is URGENT?

After being granted asylum you are no longer F-1 rather you got an asylee status so stay in school or not don't make no difference.
About your second question yes asylum previlage could certainly be taken away if found your case is based on lies. But I guess that happens very seldom.

YOU can quit your school . just show your approval letter to school director.
or if you want to continue your studies . you can get financial aid .so you dont have to pay crazy out of state tuition fees.
also you can apply for greencard after 1year of asylum status
