Out of Status

I am a permanent resident in the U.S. and I\'m filing a petition for G.C for my spouse. My spouse is in a lawful status now (as at the time I put in the petition), but she\'ll be out of status in about a year, which is about 5-6 years before the petition will be approved by the INS. Please advice me on what to do

Analogical Situation=>Answer

You\'d better not fill!
 If you married before getting GC, your spouse can use follow-to join benefits (I don\'t have plastic GC yet, but I entered stamped as "processed for I-551" (winned in Lottery), so it\'s probably same as you?). My situation is worse because spouse outside of US and CAN NOT be granted any type of entering visa accordingly "dual intent".
I think best option to wait for citizenship( don\'t know about you but I have only 3 years left) and when fill, for this category there\'s no quota. Or leave things as is trying to get for her other type of visa.
