Someone works for company A. H1 valid till Oct\'2003.
Gets H1 Approval for company B in mid 2002 and joins company B.
Quits company B and joins back in Company A after 1 month.

Is he out of status?????

Ramaswamy, What amendment.
As far as I know there is no Amendment saying that An EMployee left and came back.

As far as I gathered. It is fine til the old company does not withdrawthe position

I agree with Walker

The H-1 is valid until cancelled. There are risks to the employer in having the employer come back under the same visa but I\'ve done it without problems.
