brit01 take the SSS letter with you. Dont stress yourself, you need to be calm during the interview. I just had my interview at the Houston DO, go with what you have, if they need additional docs they will ask for them. Carry also docs that show you leave together (with both names on them) eg bills, lease, tax returns etc. Good luck.
 
The other thing to remember is to not answer questions that they don't ask. Unless it is a document that is explicitly required (GC, passport, letter), don't volunteer it unless asked. Unless they ask about your situation, don't bring it up.

That said, think about the questions that they might ask, and have simple, truthful answers ready. The more flustered you look, the more likely they are to ask deeper questions (this is a guess on my part, but I used to know a customs officer, and that was what they were trained to do).
