Out of state marriage - Sponsoring for greencard

I am holding F-1 visa. I live in Pennsylvania. My girlfriend is a US citizen in Oregon. She is working there in Oregon. We are going to marry and she will quit her job and move to PA.
I know that I need to be sponsored, but my girlfriend won't be having a job when she moves to PA.
Is this an issue about sponsoring me or does the immigration care about the past years' income tax that she paid? OR should I marry her in Oregon before she quits her job and apply for EAD from Oregon? (sure she'll quit later and move to PA anyway). How does it work? Could anybody please tell me what my options are?
Thank you

you can always get a co-sponsor, if your wife's income is not enough. You can be a co-sponsor, but a USC relative or friend is better.
