Out of country and in danger of missing interview?

Hi

I got email "In line for interview and testing" on June 12 and currently out of country. Will be back on July 10 and my mail is on-hold at post office. From other posts it looks like that I will receive IL in next 7 days and interview "maybe" after 30+ days after receiving IL. So that I way I am 90% sure that It won't happen before July 20 and I am back on July 10. But is their way to check my inteview date while I'm out of country so that if my interview is before July 10 then I can take extreme measures of going back early which I don't prefer as I'm out due to some unavoidable circumstances?

Thanks

Usually you will have one month time from the day USCIS send out your interview letter ( I have also noticed this trend in this forum and of course there are few exceptional cases where I requested earlier date). If you can ask some one to check the mails that would have been better.

Actually, it's not an accurate assumption. You may expect IL within a week after your status changed to Interview Scheduled. However, you may wait up to 6 weeks (may be longer though, but it's rare) until you get to that status from In Line For Interview.
