our I-140 might have come thru\', but my husband has accepted a position in India. My questions are:
1. can we proceed with our GC still?
2. what is the step to be taken to keep it going?
3. will taking a parole work?

485 can be filed from anywhere in the world. If employer sponsored, they need to honor your job position thru the process. Be prepared for an RFE or Intent to Deny from the service center when approval time comes cause INS will suspect something is wrong by default.
