Hello All,

I am going for F1-H1 stamping next week, my employer is in NJ, so the LCA is for NJ currently I am working in California but the taxes are still paid for NJ. with this situation would the consulate ask for reasoning? if so what should I say? also on DS156 I mentioned that I would be staying in California. being a consultant I will be traveling a lot in different sates so how can I justify at the consulate in this situation.

please help.

--- if you are working in CA then you should have LCA for CA area where you work.

--------- let your company lawyer or employer explain it on letter.
I see problems for you. before going for Visa stamp discuss the issues posted here with your lawyer, let him explain it to you or give you a letter drafted by employer or he should write a letter so that if the above posed question are asked you can explain the situation and can provide the letter to Visa officer
please help.
