Just completed my interview. Here is my experience for those interested:
Interview was scheduled for 7:50am. I arrived about 7:30.
First of all the address on the interview letter is wrong, it's actually in a different buiding, but no big deal.
Had to show the interview letter and ID at the door to be let in.
There were about 5 other people in the waiting room. I was called after about 20 Minute wait. My interviewer was a very nice hispanic lady.
She asked me for my ID, Greencard, and passport. Then she put me under oath and started going through the application basically asking everything again. She asked about any trips outside the country since my application and she appeared pleased that I had already brought a paper listing the 2 trip I had taken so she asked if she could keep that paper. She went on asking all the remaining questions for the application about good moral etc, are you will to take the oath, are you willing to bear arms ..
Then she told me to sign the application and also she handed me my 2 pictures and wanted me to sign them on the side.
She continued with the history test. She had a paper with maybe 15 questions printed on it and she appeared to pick randomly some of them. I was asked probably about 7 or 8 questions. They were all easy. Who is the Vice-President? Who many terms can the president serve? How many senators? Can the constitution be changed? What is a change called? I forget the other questions.. After I had answered them all correctly, she congratulated me and told me I was approved. She told me I would get a letter in the mail when the next oath ceremory will take place. Probably in about 2 months, maybe earlier she said.
That was it. I walked out at about 8:05am.
