Original Visa and PP issue PLEASE HELP

Hi all,

I think I am really in a very very big trouble here. I got my H1b visa stamped at chennai consulate on Feb 16 and I am planning to come in this month to USA. My employer has taken both my H1b papers (Original) and Passport (Original) and he is not returing it back. What do I do?
I want to know what can he do with those documents
Please please help

--- regarding your Passport you can file a complaint with Police.
I want to know what can he do with those documents

---he is a fool if he mailed his passport out of India, FYI for H1 petition the employer only needs copy of passport pages and educational documents or exp letters copies. He can get his passport if he report it to police. the person may have entred a deal with employer to file his H1 and after the approval employer may be asking for the balance money. the person again is asking can he get H1 approval from consulate. he does not know that approval of H1 is from USCIS and consulate dont generate H1 approval. I see the episode of some one asking employer to get him H1 and agreed to pay XYZ amount and after approval he does not want to pay. both employer and the person did illegal filing with USCIS.
