Order of Documents for Interview ???

prakit

Registered Users (C)
My interview date is 7th October. But I am not sure about how to prepare
the documents.

According to other threads , they said:
We need to divide documents into two folders
- Original documents (accompany with translation)
- Copy documents

Folder 1 - Original documents (accompany with translation)

1. Passport
2. Original Birth Certificates (accompany by translation)
3. Original Police Record (accompany by translation)
4. Original High School Diploma (accompany by translation)
5. Medical Examination Result
6. Sponsor's Document I-134 with its supporting documents

In actual interview practice, which documents come first? How do you arrange all of these documents?

Folder 2 - Copy documents or Certified documents

- copy all documents in Folder 1

It said that '' Making one copy of each '',copy all of documents or some? Just Black & White copy or Certified copy? Do we keep the copy aside from Original documents ?

+ Should we bring 1 photo (5*5) with ?
+ How about form ds230 part II? Should we fill it and bring it to the interview ? or
bring the forms ds230, ds122 copy that we sent to KCC?

Please make suggestion..............

Hi, all my documents are original. I didn't bring them to make a certified copy.
Do we really need both Original and Certified Copy for interview?

I prepared my files into 2 folders as you.

- First Folder is for Original (accompany with translation),
1. Passport
2. Original Birth Certificates (accompany by translation)
3. Original Police Record (accompany by translation)
4. Original High School Diploma (accompany by translation)
5. Medical Examination Result
6. Sponsor's Document I-134 with its supporting documents
7. Original Residence Book (accompany by translation)
8. Appointment Letter and Winning Letter

- The Second Folder is just a copy of 1st folder only. (Black and white copy)

I will include 1 photo, Form ds230 part II. (Interview Fee: 775$)

Prakit, I think certified copy is used only when we don't have original documents.

Right!

You dont need two folder. Make one with the documents in the following order: Original, Translation, Copy.

Thank Tazmania !

Hi Tazmania,

You don't need two folder. Make one with the documents in the following order: Original, Translation, Copy.

Do you really mean that the order of documents are following:

1. Passport and Copy
and then,
2. Original Birth Certificates, Translation, Copy
and then,
3. Original Police Record, Translation, Copy
and then,
4. Original High School Diploma, Translation, Copy
and then,
5. Medical Examination Result
and then,
6. Original Sponsor's Document I-134 with its supporting documents, Copy
and then,
7. Original Residence Book, Translation, Copy
and then,
8. Original Appointment Letter and Winning Letter and Copy

If so please say your word.

Thats what I mean. Dont know if they are in the right order, but they will tell you.

In Frankfurt you have to arrange them in the following chronological order:

Make separate piles for each individual applicant.
starting at the top with:
• Birth certificate;
• Divorce or death decrees. if applicable;
• Marriage certificate;
• Police certificates in order of residence - the German one
should be the last in line;
• Affidavit of financial support. either form I-864 or I-124
plus supporting documents.

Affidavit only if needed.

Thank Tazmania,

My documents are now well organized.
Big thanks to all of you here.

Thank Tazmania and Lancer01,

By your advices, Non- Certified Copy needed if we have original documents.

Hi All, no one talked about the work experience letter??? Is that not needed if you submit your education diploma? Will it help if you also add other supporting documents? Such as your "Resume", "Recommendations/References", other trainning certificates...etc...???
