Hi, Guys,

I received RFE for my EB1-OR. One item of them is to provide evdence to establish if the publication has international circulation; how often it is printed; and the number of copies printed.

Which kind of evidence IBCS would like to see?

How to find the number of copies printed for a journal? Where can we find this kind of information?

Thanks,

Yun

Not Really

I wish I had just this one item in RFE. However, the officer listed
all six items from A to F to address, like a standard form the officer has at hand. He just redescribed all six criteria a little more detail.

Hi Yun,

Can you please post more details on your rfe, like what are the questions, how do you plan to reply?

I just know on-line my case will also have a rfe, which sent out today. We can share the info.

Thanks.

RFE

Hi,

Sorry for late of checking this message.

The RFE just redescribed the six criteria and a little more detai for some items, for example, how significance and importance of the journals which publised your papers; what is the criteria for the journals to choose a reviewer ( I was reviewed papers for some journals), and the significance of the work you judged. etc.

Also the officer asked evidence of three years research experience letter from former and current employers, and also the names associated with you in the research.

Payability of current employer.

Provide evidence of how internationally recognized outstanding researcher.

Hope your RFE is simple one.

Good Luck.

Yun

Just received my RFE.

Mainly two: (1) internantional recognition (2) eveidence of 3 years research experience. These two are highlighted and separately stated.

Besides above 2, "Finally, provide the following evidence, to substantiate the claim that the beneficiary will be in US to conduact as outstanding researcher:", then listed 8 items with brief statements, including Academic awards, associattions, published material, original scientific research, authorship, doctorate degree, experience, and consulate.

Anyone similar to mine? Do I need to address above 8 items which seems not highlighted?

Thanks.

OR-RFE

I just got an OR RFE this week. Basically, they said things similar to Yun's regarding article circulation, which should be easy to find on the web if journals are international.

Also, said references are from coworkers, professors, supervisors etc. Well, I submitted 16 letters only 4 were from collaborators and rest independant scientists.

Also said letters were only "above average" even though most of them said "very top of her field of research" or something similar

Suggestions to resppond?

BTW, also got a denial of NIW this week!

My own experience is that the director do not read the whole document or somehow miss some of the key evidences. It may be useful to repeat those crieterias, probably with additional evidence.

Does the RFE states that you've met any of those 8 crieterias?

What are the statements on each of the 8 criteria?

Why do you need evidence substantiate claim that you will be in US to conduct research under OR? I thought the employer should file OR if it is not NIW.
