OR at VSC

For me the wait could be translated as utter comatosis on the part of VSC.
I am awaiting to hear about my application I140 in VSC since the 17th april 2002. I am applying as an OR:confused:
Skusa you are not alone

YJ140,

Me too. According to the processing times VSC is in June 2002. How come yours has not come in then? Has your lawyer launched an inquiery? I was just surfing other threads and I came across one that said his I140 was rejected because he did not answer to RFE which he never recd.

Hi Eagerlywaiting,
Today, I called the customer sevice to file for an inquiry on my case.
Basically if you have called this service more than three times they transfer your call to an immigration officer. After talking to a nice lady I was able to put a formal request to dig up my case from the grave.
The immigration officer stressed, that, it is not unusual for some people to get denied their I140 after not replying to an RFE which they did not receive in the first place!!!! .
For the general public my case is an E12 outstanding researcher also known as OR.
My case is still pending since april 17 of 2002.
The lady assured me that in my case nothing was send to me.
I will post something after I receive a feedback from VSC about my case.
I will try to keep busy and not think about my case for the next 24 hours, but your feeds are always welcome.

Man, it blows! VSC used to be the fast center. I don't mean to put salt on your wounds guys, really, I feel for you, but my petition at NSC went in later than yours did and has long since been approved. I guess not getting that postdoc at MIT was a good thing after all

I am also waiting for my OR I-140 application. ND Jul 10, 2002
Did I-485 also there on Dec 2002. No response yet?

VSC is extremely dissappointing. I have a chance to send my application to TSC which I screwed up and trusted VSC. My immig. specialist convinced me it was the fastest and here we are.
