Hi Folks,

If anyone of you have experience with changing jobs multiple time on EAD . Please could you let me know.

I changed my Job once from the previous employer to the current one. However , I may have to yet again seek employment elsewhere.

I am currently on an EAD waiting in the AOS state for Almost 2 years now.

What are my options if I change my job.
Do I have to do anything special when I change my Job like file AC-21 or is it simply changing the Job

Your response will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

i have changed employers multiple times (it was not my choice) and have never filed AC 21. I have no intentions of filing one either. i do not anticipate any complications and i expect to be employed per conditions in labor at the time of approval.

Please could you tell me if there are any stipulations from the government on EAD.

Do you have a lawyer following your case.

My current lawyers are not very helpful and have already delayed filing my AP once .

I believe since the lawyers are tied to the company I will have to find a new lawyer to follow on my case, is this right

Any further information that could help me will be great too.

Thanks

Many of us have changed jobs using EAD. No need to worry as long as you work in similar position getting more or less same salary as mentioned in your LC petition.

When you finally get RFE, be ready to show the Employment letter, W2s, last 3 paychecks and also a letter to explain your job changes.

If you can't trust your attorney with AP/EAD filing, do them yourself. You can find all the help in this forum by searching the threads.

Good luck

i have retained the old company lawyer - i told him I will pay for everything myself and he agreed. it is pay per incident basis - pay for any service that u utilize.

Hi lsamp,
I am just curious to know how much your old lawyer is charging.
My attorney is asking for $200/hr for RFE response.

Thank you for all your responses.

I am not aware of the charges by the lawyer as the company I work for is paying for it and their lawyers do not mention the cost .

However I am not very happy with their approach and attitude.

Thanks again for the answer. I feel more comfortable now.
