I am currently on F1 STEM OPT. My current employer is filing for H1B for the third time in March 2025. ( I got 4 attempts of H1B 2023, 2024, 2025 & 2026) But I am having a potential opportunity from the World Bank that needs a G4 Visa and the potential start date may be April 1st.
A. If I do not get selected for an H1B visa in the remaining two rounds, what are my options?
B. If I switch to the G4 visa from my current F1 visa then does my current F1 Visa get terminated? If not then can I use my remaining F1 visa?
C. What options do I have after the G4 visa expires?
D. After changing visa status what happened to original visa status like if I switch to G from F1 does my F1 will be on hold or terminated. Can I use remaining F1 if I want to switch back to F1 after G4 expired? Same for H1B?
