I am waiting for my I-140 approval. I had filed I-140 in June 2002, so hoping it would get approved soon. I am planning to opt for CP in Mumbai.
I have used a substitute labor and filed in EB-3 category. Our company A was acquired recently (last month) by company B. My lawyer told me that opting for CP should not be a problem as according to legal documents, our company A (which was acquired by company B) is a subsidary of company B and there would be documents to support that.
Just wanted to find out if this would in any way affect the outcome of CP and if anyone is in a similar situation.
