Hi

I am a student on F1 and I have applied for my OPT. My case is still pending and I think I will be getting an offer for a job before I get my OPT approval. I have received LIN Number from BCIS.

Is there any way I can work if I get a job with this LIN Number as in the case of H1?

If not then what is the best way?

I dont want to loose the opportunity I am getting.
Please advice me and thank you for your time.

no, you may not start working until you actually have EAD in your hands. Now, if it has been 90 days from the notice date and you haven't received your card yet, you can go to the local office and get an interim EAD valid until you get your permanent one. You can start working with the interim EAD.

I got my OPT card exactly 93 days after the notice date.
